Missing group or channel webhook events
Check Ignore Groups and Ignore Channels when events stop arriving.
Check your message filters
If direct messages arrive but group or channel events do not, open the session edit page and find Message Filters.
- Turn off Ignore Groups to receive group messages.
- Turn off Ignore Channels to receive channel messages, also called newsletters.
Save your settings. Through the API, the corresponding fields are ignore_groups and ignore_channels; use false to stop ignoring those messages.
Test a new event
Confirm that webhooks are enabled and the relevant message event is selected. Send a new message to a group or channel the linked account can access. Changing a filter should not be treated as a request to replay previously missed messages.
If no events arrive at all, follow webhook troubleshooting.
